IT Project Manager (Contract, ECM software, Government project experience, PMP/CITPM certificate)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead ECM software implementations for government clients on a contract basis. The role involves full‑cycle project management, stakeholder coordination, and delivering solutions that meet client expectations and budget constraints.

Key responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive project plans, schedule resources and align deliverables with client goals.
• Monitor project progress, financials, operational efficiency and documentation compliance.
• Implement risk management and quality assurance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Lead all implementation phases, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met.
• Collaborate with sales to craft solution proposals and showcase value.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams for seamless project delivery.
• Maintain proactive communication with clients and act as a trusted advisor.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent.
• PMP or CITPM certification is mandatory.
• 4‑5 years of relevant experience, including at least 2 years on government projects and 3 years in IT project management.
• Proven ability to mentor and lead project teams.
• Strong customer focus and results‑driven mindset.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with Electronic Content Management (ECM) platforms, specifically OpenText and EMC Documentum.
