IT Project Manager – Enterprise Test Management (Financial Services)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to lead the end‑to‑end delivery of banking applications and system interfaces across complex transformation programmes. The role will own scope, schedule, budget, risks and vendor management while providing deep expertise in application integration and interface design.

Key responsibilities

• Manage delivery of applications and interfaces from requirements through design, development, testing, cut‑over, deployment, hyper‑care and transition to BAU.
• Develop and maintain integrated project plans covering scope, schedule, resources, budget, milestones, dependencies, risks and issues.
• Lead workshops with business, operations, architecture and vendor stakeholders to capture requirements and design solutions.
• Oversee design and delivery of APIs, real‑time and event‑driven integrations, message‑based, batch and file‑based interfaces and data feeds.
• Govern interface specifications, data mappings, transformation rules, message formats and integration documentation.
• Coordinate delivery across upstream/downstream applications, internal teams, system integrators and third‑party providers.
• Lead SIT, end‑to‑end testing, UAT, performance testing and operational‑readiness activities, including defect triage.
• Manage implementation, release and cut‑over activities, ensuring monitoring, alerting and production verification.
• Provide clear reporting on status, risks, issues and mitigation to programme governance and senior stakeholders.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of banking technology delivery experience, with at least 5 years managing application integration or interface delivery in large transformation programmes.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and vendors throughout the full project lifecycle.
• Hands‑on experience gathering requirements and designing, developing, testing and deploying banking application interfaces.
• Strong knowledge of application architecture, APIs, middleware, messaging and event‑driven integration.
