IT Project Manager (Government Projects)

About the role

NCS, an AI tech services company and subsidiary of the Singtel Group, is hiring an Infrastructure Project Manager in Singapore for government projects. The role manages and delivers infrastructure-based projects within scope, schedule and budget, covering project administration, resource scheduling, financial tracking, risk and issue management and quality assurance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, deliver and maintain infrastructure projects within time, scope and cost parameters, ensuring quality and compliance with standards and methodologies.
• Plan schedules, quality plans, budgets, and communication and risk management plans.
• Manage hardware, software and system integration, including migration and testing.
• Manage project finances, including cost and revenue forecasting, and resolve project overruns.
• Track progress, report to senior management and customers, and lead smooth transitions to operations.
• Mobilise team resources, manage contracts, subcontractors and vendors, and handle government-approved vendors and public-sector procurement processes.
• Negotiate change control, engage stakeholders, build customer relationships and lead project team members.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of project management experience in IT infrastructure delivery.
• Experience managing public-sector projects in Singapore.
• Strong communication, problem-solving and negotiation skills.
• Preferred certifications: PMP, CITPM, ITIL v3/v4 Foundation, and a network or server technical certification.

Required skills

• Strong understanding of data centre infrastructure (network, systems and security) implementation.
• Project financial management, risk management and service transition.
• Experience with at least one of: security, analytics, AI for services, cloud.
