IT Support Engineer – Global Infrastructure

About the role

Air Charter Service is looking for a proactive IT Support Engineer to maintain and enhance its global IT infrastructure. You will provide hands‑on technical assistance to internal users and external clients, both on‑site and remotely, ensuring smooth operation of critical systems.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver virtual, email and face‑to‑face support for internal users worldwide.
• Administer Microsoft 365, Exchange and Active Directory, handling user lifecycle (starters, movers, leavers).
• Manage backup processes, perform regular testing and maintain documentation.
• Log, resolve or appropriately escalate all tickets in the Helpdesk system.
• Support software installation, desktop imaging, inventory and monitoring.
• Configure and install physical and virtual servers (VMware, Hyper‑V).
• Administer Cisco networking devices, including switches and firewalls.
• Participate in client meetings, system demonstrations and IT projects of varying size.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of technical experience; ideally 3 years in 2nd/3rd line support.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer‑focused attitude.
• Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks and manage workload independently.

Required skills

• Windows 11 operating system.
• Microsoft 365, Exchange and Active Directory.
• Networking fundamentals: DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP.
• Virtualisation: VMware, Hyper‑V.
• Remote‑access tools.
• Mobile device configuration (iPhone/iPad).
• Cisco switches and firewalls.
