IT Support Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a proactive, customer‑focused IT Support Engineer to join Contfinity’s growing team in Singapore. You will deliver Level 1 and Level 2 technical assistance, troubleshoot hardware, software and network issues, and help maintain secure IT environments for our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Provide Level 1 and Level 2 support via phone, email, remote tools and onsite visits.
• Log, manage and resolve incidents and service requests within agreed SLAs, escalating complex cases as needed.
• Install, configure and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, operating systems and business applications.
• Administer Microsoft 365 services, including user accounts, email, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive and permissions.
• Support and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, Wi‑Fi, VPN, firewalls, switches, routers, DNS and DHCP connectivity.
• Deploy and maintain endpoint security, backup, patching and monitoring solutions.
• Set up and decommission user accounts and equipment for onboarding and off‑boarding.
• Maintain accurate hardware, software, licensing and asset inventory.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams, provide progress updates and ensure issue closure.
• Prepare technical documentation, support reports and standard operating procedures.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity or related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in IT support, desktop support or system administration (fresh graduates may be considered).
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Customer‑focused attitude with clear communication skills.
• Willingness to travel to client sites across Singapore and work occasional weekends.
