IT/Cyber Risk Management Intern

About the role

Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group (MUFG) is recruiting an IT/Cyber Risk Management Intern within its Risk Management Office for Asia, in the Operations Risk Management (IT Risk) team. The internship runs from 11 January 2027 to 30 June 2027 and supports regional IT and cyber risk activities.

Key responsibilities

• Support regional IT/Cyber risk management activities.
• Assist in collecting and analysing IT and cybersecurity risk metrics.
• Support projects relating to operational resilience and cyber resilience.
• Support research on cybersecurity threats, AI-related risks and technology regulations.
• Support risk assessments for IT/Cyber risk initiatives and activities.
• Assist in preparing management reports and presentations on IT/Cyber risk.
• Take part in regional initiatives strengthening cyber resilience across APAC.

Required profile

• Undergraduate student pursuing Computer Science, Engineering, Data Analytics or a related discipline.
• Interest in cybersecurity and technology risk.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills.
