Java Full Stack/Back-End Developer (E-Trading)

About the role

We are seeking a talented and motivated Back-End Developer to join our E‑Trading application development team. You will build and enhance backend modules for an in‑house FX eCommerce platform, working closely with front‑end developers and business stakeholders to deliver high‑performance, user‑friendly solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend applications using Core Java, SpringBoot, RESTful and streaming‑based API servers.
• Collaborate with other back‑end developers to implement seamless client‑server API interactions and participate in peer code and design reviews.
• Work with Business Analysts and Project Managers to translate requirements into functional features.
• Handle code deployments, releases, and operational tasks on a rotational basis, emphasizing automation and continuous improvement of build and deployment processes.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of experience in Java full‑stack or back‑end development.
• Experience with E‑Trading applications is a plus.
• Strong proficiency in modern Java and unit/integration testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit).
• Familiarity with agent‑based coding assistant tools is a plus.
• Comfortable using Bitbucket (Git), Jira, Confluence, Linux, shell scripting, and SQL‑based databases.
• DevOps experience with tools such as Jenkins, SonarQube, VeraCode, and Artifactory.
• Ability to adapt to evolving requirements and work collaboratively in a dynamic team.
• Willingness to learn financial domain concepts.
