Junior Accountant / Accounts Executive

About the role

We are seeking a Junior Accountant / Accounts Executive to support our finance team with bookkeeping, accounts payable processing, cost allocation and month‑end activities for multiple entities across Singapore, Australia, Malaysia and other regional operations. The role works closely with a Senior Accountant, offering hands‑on exposure to the full accounting cycle and modern financial tools.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain full sets of accounts for assigned entities and process AP invoices, payments and bookkeeping entries.
• Perform bank, supplier, intercompany and balance‑sheet reconciliations and prepare weekly cashbook updates.
• Allocate shared costs across projects/cost centres based on actual usage.
• Prepare month‑end workpapers, assist with GST returns, corporate income tax filings and other statutory submissions.
• Utilise accounting systems and AI tools to streamline data entry and reduce manual errors.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Accountancy, Finance or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in accounts payable, bookkeeping or full‑set accounting.
• Detail‑oriented, organised and able to meet deadlines.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin for communication with regional stakeholders.
• Team player willing to handle routine accounting work and learn.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Xero accounting software.
• Advanced Excel skills.
