Junior Credit Analyst (Singapore)

About the role

SemiAnalysis, an independent research firm focused on semiconductors and AI, is expanding its Capital & Markets team. The Junior Credit Analyst will support the team in forecasting capital needs, building financial models, and maintaining a comprehensive financing database for AI‑related investments.

Key responsibilities

• Build and update financial models, including cash‑flow forecasts and scenario analyses.
• Gather and analyse company financial statements, debt information, and market data.
• Support analysis of business performance, liquidity, financing needs, and debt repayment capacity.
• Check calculations, reconcile information across sources, and document model assumptions.
• Prepare concise summaries, presentation materials, and supporting analysis for lender discussions.
• Coordinate assignments with the New York team, keeping colleagues informed of findings and next steps.

Required profile

• 0‑3 years of relevant experience, preferably in investment banking or sales & trading (internships accepted).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and investigate errors.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Reliable work ethic, ability to meet deadlines and manage hand‑offs.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel for financial modeling.
