Junior Design Engineer – Civil & Structural

About the role

We are seeking a Junior Design Engineer to support the civil and structural design of Good Class Bungalows in Singapore. The role involves creating safe, code‑compliant structures while collaborating closely with senior engineers and project leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Execute civil and structural engineering design tasks for bungalow projects, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.
• Perform structural analysis using engineering software to validate design integrity and performance.
• Apply BS/EU structural design codes specific to bungalow projects.
• Produce accurate engineering models and drawings with Tekla, Tedds, STAAD, Plaxis, Esteem, AutoCAD, GStarCAD and SketchUp.
• Collaborate with the Project Director and management, providing timely design updates and technical reports.
• Assist senior engineers with on‑site visual inspections and prepare detailed inspection reports when required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Minimum of 1 year relevant experience in civil/structural design.
• Familiarity with local design standards and codes (preferred).
• Ability to work under supervision of senior engineers and project leadership.
