Junior Marketing Communications Specialist

About the role

Our major Oil & Gas downstream client is seeking a Junior Marketing Communications Specialist to support the planning and execution of targeted marketing initiatives. The role will focus on a specific discipline such as media, digital, agency management or event management, working closely with internal teams and external vendors.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and monitor marketing activities, programs and budgets aligned with brand strategy.
• Serve as the primary contact for internal stakeholders and third‑party vendors within the assigned discipline.
• Research media coverage, industry trends and prepare briefing materials and agendas.
• Share best‑practice insights across Global Business Units and Lines of Business.
• Assist senior team members with basic tasks and project coordination.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in marketing communications, preferably in an Oil & Gas or related sector.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a deadline‑driven environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
