Junior Product Designer – Trading & Payments

About the role

At Axi, we're looking for a curious and hands‑on Junior Product Designer who enjoys solving real user problems and bringing ideas to life. This role will involve designing intuitive digital experiences for trading and payments products used worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design user‑centric web and mobile experiences in close collaboration with Product Managers, Engineers and Senior Designers.
• Rapidly prototype concepts using AI‑powered tools such as Claude and explore user flows.
• Participate in the full design process from discovery and wireframing to high‑fidelity designs, testing and implementation.
• Contribute to and maintain Axi’s Design System, leveraging reusable components, design tokens and interaction patterns.
• Ensure designs consider edge cases, error states, accessibility and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Approximately 2 years of product or UX/UI design experience, preferably with digital products.
• Genuine interest in fintech, payments or trading environments where accuracy and trust are critical.
• Growth‑mindset focused on balancing user needs, business goals and technical constraints.
• Proactive, collaborative and open to continuous feedback.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Figma or comparable UI/UX design tools.
• Experience using AI‑assisted design tools (e.g., Claude) for research, ideation and prototyping.
• Knowledge of Design Systems, component libraries and design tokens.
• Understanding of responsive design principles across desktop and mobile.
• Basic awareness of front‑end implementation concepts to work closely with engineering.
