Junior Sommelier – Sky Dining Bar

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Junior Sommelier to join the Sky Dining Bar team at Raffles. This entry‑level position offers the chance to develop wine knowledge and service skills in a premium hospitality setting.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Sommelier team with wine and beverage service according to outlet standards.
• Recommend suitable wines and beverages based on guests’ preferences and food selections.
• Support wine presentation, opening, pouring and proper service techniques.
• Maintain accurate wine inventory, cellar organisation and stock levels.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of wines and beverages.
• Provide professional and personalised service to enhance the overall guest experience.

Required profile

• Previous experience in wine service, beverage service or fine‑dining hospitality is preferred.
• Good knowledge or strong interest in wines, spirits and other beverages.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a professional service attitude.
• Relevant wine certification such as WSET or equivalent is an advantage.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends and public holidays as required.

• Knowledge of wine service standards and proper handling.
• Ability to maintain inventory and cellar organization.
