Key Account Manager – Gas Compressor

About the role

Our client, a multinational machinery manufacturer, is seeking a Key Account Manager to lead the sales and after‑sales activities for their gas compressor portfolio across Singapore. You will work closely with internal teams and customers to drive growth, ensure technical support, and maintain long‑term relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Drive sales for a full range of services including valve services, spare parts, field services, component repair, engineering services, revamps, upgrades, monitoring & diagnostic solutions, and compressor technology training.
• Collaborate with internal and regional teams to meet individual and company sales targets.
• Provide comprehensive after‑sales support to maximise customer satisfaction.
• Develop and manage sales agents, setting objectives and monitoring performance.
• Build strong relationships with existing customers while identifying new business opportunities.
• Interpret customer requirements and propose suitable technical and commercial solutions.
• Conduct regular customer visits and travel within the assigned territory.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.
• Deliver technical sales presentations, product demonstrations, application support, and customer training.

Required profile

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial sales within refinery, petrochemical, or chemical sectors.
• Experience in after‑sales service of gas compressors or rotating equipment.
