Key Account Manager

About the role

Wilhelmsen Ship Services is seeking a motivated Key Account Manager to drive sales growth for both legacy and non‑legacy marine products. You will work with a global network, supporting existing customers while hunting new business opportunities across the maritime sector.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve sales targets for legacy products by expanding business with current accounts and acquiring new customers.
• Support sales teams to meet targets for non‑legacy products through collaboration and pipeline development.
• Build and maintain strong, face‑to‑face relationships with customers, ensuring frequent contact and high service quality.
• Maintain accurate account information in CRM systems and ensure compliance with sales governance and risk‑management policies.
• Monitor credit terms, manage contracts proactively, and work closely with the Credit team to address any issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent marine qualification (preferred).
• International sales experience in technical or maritime environments.
• Proven track record of delivering sales growth and negotiating with customers.
• Results‑oriented with strong relationship‑building abilities.
