About the role
We are seeking a Kitchen Manager to supervise food preparation and cooking, maintain a fully‑stocked inventory, and ensure compliance with safety and cleanliness standards. The role also involves coordinating workflow to deliver high‑quality meals on time.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise food preparation, cooking, and packaging while ensuring adherence to food safety and hygiene standards.
- Maintain inventory records, check freshness, and apply FIFO principles to minimise waste and spoilage.
- Follow the daily production schedule to guarantee correct quantities are prepared and delivered to outlets.
- Organise workflow, create work schedules, and ensure timely, simultaneous delivery of high‑quality dishes.
- Monitor and minimise ingredient wastage, oversee ingredient preparation, and manage distribution of food sections.
Required profile
- Strong problem‑solving and effective communication abilities.
- Good time‑management and people‑management skills.
- Excellent organisational and conflict‑management capabilities.
