Kitchen Supervisor – Food Preparation & Team Lead

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Kitchen Supervisor to lead our food preparation team at Pin Wei Traditional Food. The role involves overseeing daily cooking operations, ensuring food safety, and delivering high‑quality meals across our island‑wide outlets.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of dishes following recipes, including slicing, chopping, grilling, sautéing, roasting and broiling.
• Maintain HACCP logs, temperature controls and proper food labeling, rotation and storage.
• Develop and contribute to daily, holiday and themed menus in collaboration with senior staff.
• Supervise and train kitchen staff, ensuring cleanliness, sanitation and adherence to health‑and‑safety regulations.
• Handle customer feedback, resolve complaints and implement service improvements.
• Manage kitchen expenses, food cost, inventory and staffing within budgetary limits.
• Create new menu items and adapt existing recipes, with a focus on North Indian cuisine.

Required profile

• Experience in a fast‑paced kitchen environment, preferably with supervisory responsibilities.
• Ability to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Strong knowledge of North Indian dishes and menu development.
• Good communication skills and a customer‑service mindset.
