KYC Source of Wealth Analyst – Private Banking

About the role

We are seeking a KYC Source of Wealth (SOW) Analyst to join our Private Banking team in Singapore. You will work within the Business Management Review Team, ensuring that client onboarding and periodic reviews meet the highest compliance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct thorough reviews of KYC write‑ups for low and medium risk client accounts, both for onboarding and rolling reviews.
• Collaborate with Front Office teams to verify the accuracy and completeness of KYC documentation and source‑of‑wealth evidence.
• Assess risk factors during scoring, identify red‑flag indicators, and flag potential issues for escalation.
• Review client transaction histories to confirm alignment with stated account purposes and detect inconsistencies.
• Evaluate adverse news and reputational risks related to clients.
• Monitor periodic review deadlines and provide weekly status updates to stakeholders.
• Act as liaison between sales, compliance, and CDD units to facilitate smooth onboarding processes.
• Guide junior team members and support their development.

Required profile

• 3‑6 years of AML/KYC experience within private banking or wealth management.
• Strong understanding of wealth management practices and relevant regulatory frameworks.
• Proven experience in client onboarding and periodic KYC reviews for high‑net‑worth clients.
• Excellent English communication skills and ability to work across regional offices.
• Demonstrated ability to supervise or mentor junior staff.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of AML, KYC, and source‑of‑wealth procedures.
• Familiarity with compliance policies, due‑diligence standards, and regulatory reporting.
