L1/L2 Production Support – Urgent Hiring

About the role

We are urgently hiring an L1/L2 Production Support Engineer to join our Singapore team. The role focuses on maintaining 24x7 core banking applications, handling releases, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams to ensure stable operations. This position offers exposure to modern monitoring tools and cloud‑based automation within a fast‑growing technology provider.

Key responsibilities

• Provide L1/L2 production support for 24x7 Core Banking applications.
• Coordinate and support infrastructure maintenance activities.
• Manage implementations of new application releases following release‑management best practices.
• Collaborate with peer application teams, infrastructure, vendors, security and change teams to deliver seamless business support.
• Respond to production issues promptly in accordance with SLA.
• Enhance existing support processes to maintain or improve service levels and quality.
• Work with Java J2EE applications, Unix, SQL and related monitoring tools for L2 support.
• Learn and apply programming skills and system knowledge to improve operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• 1–3 years of L1 support experience or at least 2 years of L2 support experience in IT production/application support, preferably in banking or financial services.
• Basic understanding of core banking and banking operations.
• Familiarity with ticketing and monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Elasticsearch and Grafana.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and capacity to work under pressure.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
