L2 Cloud Linux Engineer

About the role

ENGGSOL PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced L2 Cloud Linux Engineer to join its island‑wide team in Singapore. You will be responsible for maintaining and supporting Linux workloads in cloud environments, ensuring high availability, security, and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Perform incident triage, root‑cause analysis, and resolution for complex Linux and cloud issues.
• Manage OS patching processes and utilize patch management tools.
• Deploy applications, troubleshoot OS‑level problems, and implement CIS security hardening.
• Maintain documentation and produce clear technical reports for stakeholders.
• Use ITSM tools such as ServiceNow or Jira to track and manage tickets following ITIL practices.
• Develop and maintain Bash/Shell and Python scripts to automate routine tasks.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of hands‑on Linux/Unix administration.
• At least 2 years of experience supporting cloud‑based Linux workloads.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, manage time effectively and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
