Lab Assistant – Manufacturing MNC (RPAL)

About the role

We are seeking a Lab Assistant to join the laboratory team of a leading manufacturing multinational in Singapore. The role supports ongoing R&D transformation projects, working closely with chemists and the line manager to ensure smooth laboratory operations and timely delivery of test results.

Key responsibilities

• Support R&D laboratory activities such as formulation, panel preparation, application testing, product evaluation and benchmarking.
• Assist in field trials, product applications and inspections under supervision.
• Conduct laboratory testing and analysis, including sampling, measurement, data recording, and reporting of paint test results.
• Provide assistance to chemists on product development projects and maintain laboratory housekeeping, inventory control and general lab operations.
• Keep the line manager informed of project progress, test outcomes and any potential delays.
• Ensure compliance with ISO standards, environmental regulations, laboratory procedures and workplace safety, including safe handling of chemicals and materials.

Required profile

• Diploma in a chemical‑related field.
• 1–2 years of laboratory or QA experience in a relevant industry.
