Lawyer – Litigation and Advisory

About the role

TLC Law is seeking a full‑time Lawyer based in Singapore’s Central Business District. The successful candidate will manage a portfolio of contentious and advisory matters, providing commercially‑focused legal advice to corporate, financial and high‑net‑worth clients.

Key responsibilities

• Draft pleadings, affidavits, contracts, legal opinions and client correspondence.
• Conduct legal research, analyse complex factual and legal issues, and review documents and evidence.
• Manage case files, timelines and prepare case strategies for court hearings, arbitrations or other dispute‑resolution forums.
• Attend client meetings, negotiations and represent the firm in court or regulatory proceedings.
• Collaborate with colleagues on cross‑border, multi‑disciplinary matters and engage with regulators as required.
• Support business development through thought leadership and client relationship building.

Required profile

• Strong legal research, analytical and problem‑solving abilities in litigation and advisory work.
• Excellent drafting and written communication skills for pleadings, contracts and legal opinions.
• Effective advocacy, negotiation and oral communication suitable for court appearances and client meetings.
• Sound knowledge of commercial law, dispute resolution, corporate restructuring, insolvency and regulatory frameworks; familiarity with white‑collar crime and media/entertainment law is a plus.
• Admission to practice law in Singapore (or equivalent common‑law jurisdiction with ability to qualify) and 2–5 years post‑qualification experience preferred.
• Experience serving corporate, financial or high‑net‑worth clients and handling cross‑border issues is beneficial.
