Lead AVEVA Application Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Lead AVEVA Application Engineer to drive the configuration, administration and optimisation of AVEVA Unified Engineering environments across our offshore projects. You will work closely with multi‑discipline engineering teams, JV partners and external contractors to ensure data consistency and efficient workflow execution.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and configure projects, databases, class libraries, naming rules and standards to meet corporate and project requirements.
• Administer and maintain AVEVA Unified Engineering (1D & 2D, NGP&ID, Electrical & Instrumentation, Spectrum) environments.
• Develop and implement automated workflows within AVEVA UE to improve data consistency and reduce manual entry errors.
• Manage users, roles, access rights and licences, including external party access.
• Oversee application customisation, integration with enterprise systems such as IFS and completion systems.
• Ensure engineering data consistency between 1D (data‑centric) and 2D (drawing‑centric) environments.
• Define and enforce project standards, workflows and governance for AVEVA applications.
• Conduct training sessions for technical personnel as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering from a recognised university.
• 5 to 10 years of relevant experience with AVEVA or similar smart engineering tools.
• Hands‑on experience with AVEVA Unified Engineering is essential.
• Design and engineering experience in oil & gas or FPSO projects is an advantage.
