Lead / Functional ERP Implementation Consultant

About the role

An established IT consultancy firm is hiring a Lead / Functional ERP Implementation Consultant in Singapore. The consultant leads end-to-end ERP implementation projects, acts as a functional expert for clients and works closely with technical consultants, developers and project managers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end ERP implementation projects, including requirements gathering, system configuration, testing and deployment.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their business processes and provide tailored ERP solutions.
• Act as a functional expert, giving guidance on best practices and alignment with industry standards.
• Develop detailed project plans, timelines and deliverables so projects finish on time and within budget.
• Conduct user training sessions and create documentation to support system adoption.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery.
• Identify and resolve system issues and provide ongoing support and troubleshooting after implementation.
• Stay up to date on ERP trends, tools and technologies and build strong client relationships.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in ERP implementation, focused on functional consulting.
• Proven expertise in at least one major ERP system (e.g. SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite).
• Strong understanding of business processes in areas such as finance, supply chain and human resources.
• Project management experience and ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to travel to client sites as needed.

Required skills

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to turn business requirements into technical solutions.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with diverse stakeholders.
• Certifications in ERP systems or project management (e.g. PMP, SAP Certified Application Associate) are a plus.
