Lead / Senior Mechanical Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Lead / Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our Singapore Buildings business. You will work on a variety of building and infrastructure projects, driving design from concept through construction and hand‑over.

Key responsibilities

• Take ownership of projects from initial design through construction and final review.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary design teams locally and regionally to ensure overall design integrity.
• Manage project components, budgets, schedules, quality assurance and client feedback, communicating any changes effectively.
• Assist in workload management, resource forecasting and preparation of proposal documentation.
• Review and ensure compliance of drawings, reports, specifications, surveys and appraisals.
• Build and maintain client relationships and identify potential business opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 10–12 years of experience in building mechanical design and commissioning of M&E systems in commercial or industrial projects.
• Data centre experience is preferred.
• Strong project management capability and ability to lead technical delivery.
• Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills.
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of relevant engineering codes, standards and practices.
