Lecturer – Digital Transformation & Business Analytics

About the role

The Centre for Teaching and Learning seeks an experienced Lecturer to deliver and facilitate modules in areas such as Digital Transformation, Business Analytics, Digital Media, and Social Media Marketing. The role involves designing curriculum, supporting student success, and contributing to academic quality assurance.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver and facilitate modules, integrating real‑world case studies and interdisciplinary themes.
• Coordinate lesson planning, assessments, moderation, and grading with programme heads and module leaders.
• Monitor student engagement, provide feedback, advisement, and progression counselling.
• Uphold academic policies, participate in reviews, and ensure alignment with industry trends and emerging technologies.
• Liaise with internal departments to support teaching, learning, and assessment operations.
• Design, update, and contextualise course materials for face‑to‑face, blended, and online delivery.
• Create and share teaching resources, contribute to faculty learning communities, and provide peer support on learner‑centred strategies.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Business Transformation, Analytics, Communication, Media Studies, Marketing or a closely related discipline (Doctorate advantageous).
• Minimum 5 years of teaching, training, or curriculum development experience in higher‑education institutions.
• Proven ability to teach communication‑related or business‑related subjects and design curricula.
• Experience collaborating with academic teams and industry experts to develop applied, future‑focused content.
• Familiarity with blended and online learning environments.
