Lecturer/Senior Lecturer (DevOps Innovation)

About the role

The School of Information Technology is seeking a subject‑matter expert to lead innovation projects across multiple IT domains. You will design and deliver cutting‑edge ICT modules while mentoring students through real‑world, industry‑aligned assignments.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver ICT‑related modules, including curriculum design, lesson facilitation, and assessment activities.
• Guide and mentor students on applied learning, capstone projects, and industry‑relevant assignments.
• Collaborate with industry partners to source real‑world projects, internships, and applied‑learning opportunities.
• Continuously review and update curriculum to reflect emerging technologies and workforce needs.
• Participate in academic, professional, and student‑development activities supporting the school’s mission.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in an ICT role such as software development, systems engineering, cloud engineering, DevOps, cybersecurity, IT operations, solution architecture, or technical consultancy.
• Academic or professional qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Strong interest in applied learning, innovation, and continuous professional growth.
• Passion for mentoring youths and young adults and developing future ICT professionals.
