Legal Counsel – Infrastructure & EPC Projects

About the role

Our client, a prominent conglomerate operating in a regulated environment, seeks a mid‑level Legal Counsel to support large‑scale infrastructure and development projects. The role is highly business‑facing, offering exposure to sophisticated procurement and contractual matters while working closely with senior stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal support across the full lifecycle of major infrastructure and development projects, including procurement, tenders, contract negotiation, project delivery and contract administration.
• Draft and negotiate construction, consultancy, maintenance and other commercial agreements, and advise on contractual risks, claims, variations and delays.
• Support dispute management through negotiation, mediation, litigation or arbitration.
• Partner with internal stakeholders and external counsel, and contribute to the development of legal templates, guidance and best practices.

Required profile

• Singapore‑qualified lawyer with a minimum of 5 years post‑qualification experience, gained in a law firm or in‑house legal team.
• Proven experience in commercial contracts, projects, infrastructure, construction, procurement or dispute resolution.
• Strong drafting, negotiation and stakeholder management skills with sound commercial judgment.
• Pragmatic, solutions‑oriented approach and ability to independently manage multiple matters in a fast‑paced environment.
