Legal Counsel

About the role

The Legal Counsel supports the Head of the Legal Division and the wider Legal team in delivering practical, commercially‑oriented legal advice to FUJIFILM Group companies in Singapore, with selected support for Asia‑Pacific matters. The role conducts first‑level review and drafting of standard commercial contracts, performs legal research, prepares documentation, and assists with disputes, corporate secretarial duties, data‑protection compliance and legal training.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal advice to Singapore‑based FUJIFILM entities and assist with Asia‑Pacific matters as required.
• Research legal issues, prepare recommendations and escalate material or higher‑risk matters.
• Support dispute resolution through research, information gathering and documentation preparation.
• Develop and deliver legal training and awareness materials.
• Review, draft and negotiate standard commercial contracts; maintain contract templates and standard clauses.
• Identify and flag non‑standard or high‑risk contractual issues for senior legal counsel.
• Assist with corporate secretarial tasks, statutory filings and governance documentation for Singapore entities.
• Collaborate on data‑protection processes, review personal‑data practices and support corrective actions.
