Legal Counsel

About the role

The Legal Counsel will join the Legal department in Singapore, reporting to the Head of Legal APAC. This role focuses on preparing, reviewing and negotiating a range of information‑technology agreements while operating independently under senior legal oversight.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review and negotiate IT‑related agreements, including software licence agreements, professional services contracts and nondisclosure agreements.
• Work independently while receiving guidance from senior legal staff.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, procurement teams and external clients to ensure contractual compliance and mitigate risk.
• Maintain a diplomatic approach under pressure, meet tight deadlines and retain a sense of humour.

Required profile

• Law degree and admission to a recognised bar.
• Experience drafting and reviewing technology‑related agreements.
• Strong verbal and written communication, problem‑solving and customer‑centric attitude.
• Fluent in English; proficiency in additional Asian languages is advantageous.

Required skills

• Contract negotiation and drafting.
• Understanding of IT contract issues and software licensing.
