Legal Counsel

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Legal Counsel to provide comprehensive legal advice and support to our management and various departments. The role involves safeguarding the company’s interests across a broad range of legal matters and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal advice on a wide range of issues and represent the company in litigation, arbitration, and mediation.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents, including customer, supplier, procurement, services, confidentiality, and strategic partnership contracts.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, advising on potential legal risks and liabilities.
• Collaborate with external counsel to manage complex legal matters and conduct legal research to stay updated on developments.
• Develop and implement legal policies and procedures to promote best practices and mitigate risks.
• Provide training and guidance to employees on legal and compliance matters.

Required profile

• Admitted to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.
• Minimum five years of legal experience in a law firm or corporate legal department.
• Exposure to cross‑border transactions, technology, cloud services, data centres, or infrastructure is an advantage.
• Working knowledge of Singapore and Southeast Asian requirements relating to corporate governance, data protection, intellectual property, employment matters, and commercial compliance.
