Legal Counsel

About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated Legal Counsel to join Circles, a global technology company reimagining the telco industry with its SaaS platform. The ideal candidate will operate with a high degree of independence, bring commercial acumen, and support a range of technology and telecommunications transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Proactively identify legal matters, own them end‑to‑end and provide actionable solutions.
• Manage significant transactions and workstreams independently, from drafting to execution.
• Engage directly with senior internal stakeholders and external counsel to align legal strategy with business goals.
• Exercise sound commercial judgment, escalating issues to General Counsel when necessary.
• Draft and negotiate commercial contracts, ensuring alignment with industry standards.
• Leverage background in technology, telecommunications, SaaS or related sectors to provide sector‑specific guidance.

Required profile

• Highly proactive, organized and commercially minded with strong business acumen.
• Ability to work independently and take full ownership of legal work without waiting for allocation.
• Comfortable interfacing with senior stakeholders and external counsel.
• Excellent judgment to distinguish matters requiring escalation.
• Right to work in Singapore without company sponsorship is preferred.
