Level 1 End User Computing Support Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a motivated, customer‑focused Level 1 End User Computing (EUC) Support Engineer to join our IT support team. The role involves providing first‑line technical assistance to end users, handling hardware and software setup, and supporting basic account management tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Provide Level 1 technical support via phone, email, chat, or ticketing system.
• Troubleshoot issues with desktops, laptops, printers, monitors, and other peripherals.
• Assist with hardware installation, configuration, and deployment.
• Install and configure basic software applications and ensure systems are ready for users.
• Support common Windows OS, Microsoft Office/365, network connectivity, and peripheral problems.
• Create, update, and manage user accounts and access permissions.
• Handle password resets, account unlocks, and basic access requests.
• Log, track, and close incidents using the IT service management system.
• Escalate complex issues to Level 2 or specialist teams.
• Maintain accurate records of IT assets, incidents, and user requests.

Required profile

• ITE or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• 0–1 year of experience in IT support or desktop support (entry‑level candidates welcome).
• Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems.
• Understanding of PC hardware, peripherals, and basic troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office / Microsoft 365 applications.
• Basic knowledge of user account and access management.
