Litigation Lawyer – Commercial Litigation Associate

About the role

Kelvin Chia Partnership is seeking a motivated Singapore‑qualified lawyer to join its Commercial Litigation Department as an Associate. You will work on a variety of commercial disputes, arbitration matters, and insolvency and restructuring cases, supporting the firm’s regional growth.

Key responsibilities

• Handle commercial litigation matters from inception to resolution.
• Assist in arbitration proceedings and related case management.
• Support insolvency and restructuring assignments.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents with high accuracy.
• Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda for senior counsel.
• Communicate effectively with Chinese‑language clients, both verbally and in writing.

Required profile

• 1–3 years post‑qualification experience (PQE) in commercial litigation, arbitration, insolvency or restructuring.
• Qualified to practice law in Singapore.
• Fluent spoken Mandarin and proficient written Chinese.

Required skills

• Strong legal drafting and research abilities.
• Excellent communication skills in Mandarin and written Chinese.
