Logistics Assistant

About the role

Toll Group, a Japan Post group company with 500 sites in 27 markets and a forwarding network across 150 countries, is hiring a Logistics Assistant in Singapore. The role covers cargo and material handling, delivery operations, order and receiving processing, and the safe operation of warehouse equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform order processing and receiving operations
• Carry out daily checks on material handling equipment (MHE) and housekeeping
• Perform stock transfers and system transactions, and monitor cargo handling schedules to meet timelines
• Receive cargo through the system and validate documentation, escalating non-conformities according to customs requirements
• Identify operational shortfalls and escalate them
• Perform stock takes and cycle counts, ensuring discrepancies are reported
• Handle outbound operations and ensure the accuracy of goods leaving the warehouse
• Ensure the safety of personnel in the warehouse
• Operate systems, technology and electronic tools such as WMS

Required profile

• Forklift license (must have)
• Entitlement to work in Singapore
• Willingness to undergo pre-employment checks, including a criminal history check and medical
• Openness to learning and to applying even if you do not meet every requirement
