Logistics Assistant

About the role

Toll Group, a Japan Post group company with 16,000 team members and 500 sites across 27 markets, is hiring a Logistics Assistant in Singapore. The role covers daily warehouse checks, cargo handling and stock control. Working hours are Monday to Thursday 11am to 8:30pm, Friday 11am to 8pm, and Saturday 8am to 12:30pm.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily checks on material handling equipment (MHE) and housekeeping
• Perform stock transfers and system transactions
• Monitor cargo handling schedules to ensure timelines are met
• Perform system receipt of cargo and validate documentation, escalating non-conformities according to customs requirements
• Identify operational shortfalls and escalate them
• Perform stocktakes and cycle counts, ensuring discrepancies are reported
• Carry out outbound operations and ensure the accuracy of orders leaving the warehouse
• Ensure the safety of personnel in the warehouse

Required profile

• Must be entitled to work in Singapore
• Prepared to undergo pre-employment checks, including a criminal history check and medical
• Similar skills and willingness to learn are welcomed even if experience does not match perfectly
