Logistics Coordinator

About the role

The Logistics Coordinator will oversee daily inbound and outbound logistics operations, working closely with outsourced logistics providers and internal teams. This junior‑level role involves hands‑on warehouse activities, inventory management, and compliance with customs and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day inbound and outbound logistics, including receiving goods, manual material movement, box stacking, packing, and inventory counts.
• Utilise SAP for inventory management and goods movement transactions such as receipt, issue, and stock transfers.
• Follow established business processes, align operations with logistics providers, and identify cost‑saving or service‑improvement opportunities.
• Support quality compliance by adhering to work instructions and QMS procedures; participate in continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Execute inventory tasks including MRB, cycle counts, and reporting.
• Prepare import/export documentation (customs declarations, SLI, SED, IC) and ensure invoice accuracy.
• Administer movement of goods in line with local and international customs regulations.
• Monitor internal KPIs and understand how daily activities impact performance metrics.

Required profile

• Junior‑level logistics knowledge with a willingness to acquire higher‑level skills.
• Ability to solve straightforward problems using standard procedures under moderate guidance.
• Physical capability to stand, walk, lift, bend, and work in noisy, confined spaces.
• Basic conceptual knowledge of logistics processes and business drivers.
• Some supervisory responsibilities may be required.

Required skills

• Basic SAP proficiency (Inventory Management, Goods Movement).
