Logistics Coordinator

About the role

Applied Materials, a global leader in materials engineering solutions, is seeking a Logistics Coordinator in Singapore. The role supports the efficient movement of goods, ensures compliance with quality and customs standards, and contributes to process improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure adherence to established business processes and support development of new processes.
• Develop and implement process improvement projects to increase service levels and reduce costs.
• Maintain logistic information databases, ensuring data accuracy per corporate policies.
• Prepare and review import/export documentation such as customs declarations, shipper’s letters of instruction, and certificates.
• Monitor inventory control reports, identify discrepancies, and recommend corrective actions.
• Collaborate with planning and procurement teams to align logistics operations with supply‑chain needs.

Required profile

• Demonstrates conceptual and practical expertise in logistics and related disciplines.
• Understands best practices and how logistics integrates with other business areas.
• Can lead small projects and act as a resource for less‑experienced colleagues.
• Solves complex problems using judgment based on multiple information sources.
• Communicates difficult or sensitive information effectively and builds consensus.
