Logistics Executive

About the role

Inchcape Shipping Services is seeking a Logistics Executive to manage end‑to‑end logistics operations across air, sea and land trades in Singapore. The role involves coordinating bookings, warehouse activities, documentation and inventory while ensuring cost‑effective service delivery for our principals and customers.

Key responsibilities

• Handle full logistics scope including booking, coordination, warehouse/storage, documentation, inventory management and billing for all trade modes.
• Prepare and execute Bills of Lading, Delivery Orders and related documentation for principals.
• Negotiate rates with suppliers and service providers to minimise storage and transportation costs.
• Verify vendor invoices for accuracy before approval.
• Reconcile incoming items with drivers or appointed forwarders.
• Ensure compliance with Inchcape Shipping Services Management System and standard operating procedures.

Required profile

• Strong negotiation skills to obtain best pricing from suppliers.
• Excellent planning abilities to keep logistical activities on schedule.
• Attention to detail for invoice verification and documentation accuracy.
