M&A Operations Manager – Deals Advisory

About the role

PwC’s Deals Advisory practice is seeking an M&A Operations Manager to support the end‑to‑end deal lifecycle. You will work with cross‑functional teams to analyse target operations, identify improvement opportunities and help clients realise value from mergers, acquisitions and divestitures.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct detailed analysis of target data and supply‑chain practices to pinpoint risks and improvement areas.
• Engage with target management to understand business models and validate analytical conclusions.
• Develop and maintain client relationships throughout project delivery and business‑development activities.
• Prepare reports and executive summaries that highlight operational risks, supply‑chain issues and recommended solutions.
• Identify deal‑specific issues and propose actionable remediation plans.
• Collaborate with financial, tax and commercial diligence teams to deliver integrated project outcomes.
• Execute risk‑management procedures, including drafting engagement letters and budgeting.
• Manage project deliverables, economics and timelines.
• Coach and train junior team members and contribute to service‑line development.
• Participate in business‑development initiatives and identify new service opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher from a recognised university.
• Minimum five years of experience in operations management, covering procurement, sales operations, manufacturing, supply‑chain management or cost‑efficiency programmes.
• Experience with due‑diligence activities in areas such as HR, IT or broader operational assessments is advantageous.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into clear recommendations.
