MAG Development Coach – Lead Men’s Artistic Gymnastics Pathway

About the role

The MAG Development Coach will head the Men’s Artistic Gymnastics (MAG) programme at The Yard, overseeing the full athlete pathway from introductory classes to elite and international competition, including preparation for NCAA scholarships in the United States.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement a structured MAG pathway that moves gymnasts from grassroots participation to elite, international and NCAA‑preparatory levels.
• Work closely with the MAG Director to translate the strategic vision into actionable growth plans.
• Scout and select talent from the recreational gymnastics pool and create clear progression routes for representation at regional, global and university competitions.
• Support athletes in competition preparation, performance analysis and scholarship applications.
• Collaborate with marketing and membership teams to boost enrolment, retention and community engagement across all pathway stages.
• Help position The Yard as a regional centre of excellence for men’s artistic gymnastics.

Required profile

• Proven experience coaching men’s artistic gymnastics at multiple performance levels.
• Demonstrated ability to develop talent pipelines and manage athlete progression.
• Strong understanding of competition standards, NCAA eligibility requirements and international gymnastics regulations.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to work with directors, marketers and athletes.
