Maintenance Engineer – 12‑hr Rotating Shift

About the role

Join a team of Shift Maintenance Engineers supporting a wafer fab manufacturing operation. You will work on advanced semiconductor equipment, ensuring optimal performance and reliability during preventive and corrective maintenance cycles.

Key responsibilities

• Understand and monitor performance of Applied Materials (Centura/Endura) and LAM Research (Novellus) tools.
• Analyze Maestria and Estar systems and troubleshoot mechanical and basic electronic issues.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and manage toxic gas handling (CVD process MSDS).
• Participate in SMED, A3 workshops, tool retrofits, upgrades, and software installations.
• Maintain 5S housekeeping standards and systematically update tool status.
• Contribute to key projects, cost‑saving initiatives, and preventive‑maintenance optimization.

Required profile

• At least 1 year experience with AMAT Centura CVD/HDP Producer or Lam Research Novellus tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronic, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot independently and handle tool start‑up, relocation, and upgrades.
• Understanding of CVD, plasma, vacuum systems and basic risk‑assessment methods.
• Good communication, analytical and teamwork skills; able to work rotating shifts.
