Maintenance Engineer

About the role

The Maintenance Engineer will support the Semiconductor Assembly Supply Chain by ensuring all manufacturing equipment and plant systems operate safely and reliably. Reporting to the Engineering/Process Improvement Manager, you will coordinate internal and external resources to deliver maintenance, repairs, and improvements across the facility.

Key responsibilities

• Install new equipment and develop preventive‑maintenance programs for manufacturing assets.
• Inspect, test, adjust, and repair plant machinery, heating, cooling, piping, and electrical systems in line with scheduled maintenance.
• Perform calibration of load cells and portable scales every six months or as required.
• Maintain the Deionized Water Plant to ensure uninterrupted operation.
• Service fired equipment, alarms, switches, and sensors, and record all maintenance activities.
• Support equipment/process improvement projects, including machine enhancements and modifications.
• Provide technical support to production teams and identify potential plant issues for short‑ and long‑term corrective actions.

Required profile

• Ability to work under the general supervision of the Engineering/Process Improvement Manager.
• Experience coordinating maintenance activities with internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong attention to safety, cost efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
