Maintenance Mechanic

About the role

Otis is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join its Singapore team. You will be responsible for the safe and reliable operation of a portfolio of elevators and escalators, ensuring passengers and stakeholders experience uninterrupted service.

Key responsibilities

• Perform all scheduled maintenance and service visits for elevators within your assigned territory.
• Manage the portfolio of units in a defined geographical area.
• Respond quickly to breakdowns, aiming for first‑time fixes.
• Carry out minor repairs to keep equipment running continuously.
• Interact directly with customers on‑site to build strong relationships.

Required profile

• Minimum GCE O Level or a Diploma in a technical field.
• Strong knowledge of electricity and electrical engineering.
• Commitment to safety as a top priority.
• Effective communication skills.
• Adaptable, curious and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Comfortable using electronic and digital tools.
