Maintenance Service Technician – Data Center Operations

About the role

Join AWS Infrastructure Services as a Maintenance Service Technician supporting a state‑of‑the‑art data center in Singapore. You will work with a world‑class technical team to ensure the reliability, safety and efficiency of critical facility equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems such as chillers, AHUs/CRAHUs, fan coil units, ventilation fans, split air‑conditioners, pumps, leak detection systems, roller shutters, power distribution boards, UPS batteries and generators.
• Develop and maintain site‑specific documentation including maintenance checklists, emergency operating procedures (EOP), standard operating procedures (SOP) and risk assessments (RA).
• Prepare and submit service reports for both scheduled and breakdown maintenance activities.
• Manage change processes, create procedures and oversee vendor operations.
• Ensure safe handling of tools, maintain good housekeeping and comply with safety standards, procedures and local legislation.

Required profile

• Experience in facility or data‑center maintenance, preferably with mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Ability to follow established safety standards and local regulations.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Willingness to perform additional tasks as directed by the manager.

Required skills

• Preventive maintenance of mechanical equipment (chillers, AHUs, FCUs, ventilation fans, split ACs, pumps).
• Preventive maintenance of electrical equipment (power distribution boards, UPS batteries, generators).
• Knowledge of leak detection systems, roller shutters and related control systems.
