Manager, Account Management

About the role

We’re looking for an experienced and motivated leader to join our Account Management team. You will build, mentor, and coach a team of account managers who are responsible for growing strategic merchant relationships and payments revenue.

Key responsibilities

• Motivate team members, provide coaching on strategic account planning, contract negotiations, product roadmap discussions, and executive engagement.
• Assist with operational tasks, build C‑level relationships, and support merchant escalation calls or critical negotiations.
• Hire, develop and retain diverse talent to meet commercial and strategic ambitions.
• Co‑define and monitor Commercial OKRs, reporting performance and metrics at an executive level.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally to convey Singapore merchant needs to HQ, influencing product innovation and delivering merchant projects.
• Drive initiatives with other Account Management leads to improve automation, tool usage, and scalability for higher productivity and customer satisfaction.
• Create an inspiring, collaborative team environment with open communication and feedback culture.
• Hands‑on management of key merchants.

Required profile

• Energetic self‑starter with a proven commercial edge, entrepreneurial track record and strong negotiation skills.
• Excited to lead and manage time‑sensitive, cross‑functional initiatives in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal abilities: listening, empathy, effective communication and persuasion.
• Passionate about pushing boundaries and creating value in the payments space.
• Skilled at managing complex projects and navigating ambiguity.
• Comfortable engaging in fast‑paced discussions with internal teams and customers to drive positive outcomes.
• Ability to work seamlessly with a global, multicultural team.
• 10+ years experience in account management, sales, consulting or related field; 3+ years managing teams; experience with enterprise merchants.
