About the role

The Office of Corporate Communications and Marketing (OCCM) seeks a senior manager to oversee finance, procurement, administration, HR and marketing support functions, ensuring compliance with university policies and delivering high‑quality services.

Key responsibilities

• Finance & Procurement: manage end‑to‑end procurement processes, oversee purchase orders, contracts, invoices, budget reporting and fixed‑asset verification.
• Administration & Operations: provide day‑to‑day administrative support, manage HR processes (recruitment, onboarding, exits), maintain SOPs, SharePoint site, records retention and staff training coordination.
• Marketing Support: administer brand portal access and support coordination and execution of OCCM events such as Patron’s Day, PDLS, HRH, PSOUs, City Dialogues and Commencement.

Required profile

• Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Human Resources or a related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in finance, procurement, administration and/or operations, preferably in higher education.
• Proven experience in budget planning, procurement, financial administration and HR management.
• Strong knowledge of financial controls, procurement policies and accurate record‑keeping.

• SAP financial system.
• Ariba procurement system.
• Microsoft Office suite – Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
• SharePoint for document management.
