Manager, Audit & Assurance

About the role

The Manager will lead a portfolio of audit engagements, ensuring high‑quality delivery for both international and local clients. You will be accountable for planning, execution, budgeting and finalisation of audits while building long‑term client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, direct and complete audit engagements, monitoring timelines and budgets.
• Provide technical expertise to ensure audit work complies with professional standards.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate project progress.
• Coach, motivate and develop team members, including training and performance reviews.
• Collaborate with business development on pitches and with support teams on financial management of engagements.

Required profile

• Professional accounting qualification.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in an international accounting firm.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work across all organisational levels.
• High ethical standards and respect for diversity.

Required skills

• Proficiency in SFRS/IFRS and SSA/ISA standards.
• Strong computer skills, especially Microsoft Office Suite.
