Manager - Clinical Transformation

About the role

NHG, one of three public healthcare clusters in Singapore serving about 1.5 million residents, is recruiting an Assistant Manager / Manager for its Clinical Transformation Department. The role facilitates and coordinates initiatives on strategic clinical planning and the evolution of care delivery models, focusing on improving access to care, advancing clinical excellence and strengthening communication with patients, residents and partners. It involves close interaction with internal NHG units, steering committees, campuses and hospitals, and external bodies such as the Ministry of Health.

Key responsibilities

• Engage and manage stakeholders to facilitate and coordinate strategic development and planning, support initiative execution and steer efforts toward collective targets (50% of time).
• Provide analytical insights from reports to inform department knowledge and decision-making.
• Manage entire projects or programmes from concept to deployment, and act as secretary to Steering Committees and taskforces, with effective meetings, minutes and tracked action items (25% of time).
• Provide guidance and support to team members, evaluate staff performance and foster staff development (10% of time).
• Undertake other duties assigned by the Reporting Officer or Counter-signing Officer (5% of time).

Required profile

• Minimally a relevant bachelor's degree.
• At least 7 years of healthcare experience, or at least 3 years in healthcare strategic/corporate planning and governance, clinical operations or patient care processes.
• Experience managing projects or programmes with diverse stakeholders and healthcare system transformation.
• Independent, dynamic, self-directed and result-oriented, with strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
