Manager, GIS Solutions & Adoption

About the role

The Land Transport Authority (LTA) is looking for an experienced GIS professional to lead the standardisation and adoption of GIS solutions across its engineering functions. You will work closely with engineering teams to understand their workflows, identify where GIS can add value, and build reusable solutions that can be scaled across the organisation, while also helping teams discover, adopt and make the most of GIS capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Understand engineering workflows and processes across the organisation, and identify functional needs and priority pain points.
• Define and maintain a structured framework of GIS use cases by workflow, user group and data need, mapping existing solutions to find gaps, duplication and standardisation opportunities.
• Design and maintain reusable GIS templates and solution frameworks, and assess enterprise systems so GIS solutions are fit for purpose.
• Create clear, task-based user guides and quick-start materials for non-expert users.
• Plan and lead outreach initiatives across Groups, including workshops and clinics, to showcase GIS capabilities, gather feedback and drive uptake.
• Identify opportunities to broaden GIS use and turn them into proposed pilots, standards or roadmap items.

Required profile

• At least 10 years of experience in GIS, geospatial solutions or related fields, with a track record of delivering solutions for engineering, infrastructure, utilities or asset management contexts.
• Ability to elicit user requirements, understand end-to-end workflows and deliver scalable solutions from prototype to full rollout.
• Experience creating reusable GIS assets such as templates, data models, map and app patterns, symbology standards and reference architectures.
• Experience delivering workshops, training or enablement programmes to drive adoption.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, and a proactive, strategic mindset focused on standards and reusable solutions.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of enterprise applications and data platforms such as EAM/CMMS, document management systems, BIM/CAD tools and data lakes, and how GIS integrates with them.
• Ability to produce clear documentation for engineers, planners and operational teams.
